Owasco Lake

10.31 Square Miles
Depth - 175.5 Feet

Oneida Lake
30.49 Square Miles
Depth – 50 Feet in the Channel
The lake also has several small islands and is generally less than 20 feet in depth. Quick moving storms have caught boaters off guard due to the large waves that can develop in the storm’s path.

Onondaga Lake
1.74 Square Miles
Depth – 60 Feet in each basin (North and South)
Scuba Diving is generally not done in this lake due to lack of interest and visibility.

Skaneateles Lake
13.86 Square Miles
Depth - 294.13 Feet
This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Onondaga county. During the summer the water temperature is generally 60 degrees at 10 feet and 40 degrees at 100 feet.

Otisco Lake
2.93 Square Miles
Depth – 65.33 Feet
There are two distinct basins which comprises the maximum depth of the lake.

Cazenovia Lake (Madison County)
1.853 Square Miles
Depth – 47.125 Feet
